Sad news for Pembrokeshire horse community this week

It’s been a week of sad news in Pembrokeshire, with Steve Young Horsemanship revealing the sad loss of his youngster; and a heartbreaking outbreak of strangles at a very special riding centre. Elsewhere, the heavy rain of the last week caused localised flooding – here’s hoping for a drier week ahead to let the land recover.

🐎 Steve Young, Wales' premier horsemanship practitioner based in Pembrokeshire has recently revealed to his thousands of followers the sad loss of his beloved youngster Indie in a field accident. Read more →

💔 Jess's Horse Haven was celebrating its first birthday when it was hit by a heartbreaking strangles outbreak, forcing a temporary closure. The Pembrokeshire centre offers riding lessons and equine therapy sessions for children and adults. Read more →

This weekend (9 November) was the hugely successful Ceredigion Welsh Pony & Cob Association Foal Show. Supreme Champion was Cloddiau Guto owned by Aled Llŷr Thomas & Sara Oliver. Full results →
