Blackfort All Stars Academy is being aired on Horse & Country TV, with the first two episodes dropping today (Thursday, November 20th).

The competition sees seven amateur riders compete in weekly challenges - both in the saddle and out - with guest stars including Mary King and Becky Moody.

One of this season’s contestants is Farrah, 20, from Conwy, who brought her horse Harold along to filming at Hartpury equine centre.

Harold is a mighty 18hh Irish Draught, and the pair like to event. “We want to get to Badminton - that is the long-term goal!" Farrah said.

Introducing herself on the show, Farrah said: “For work I do internal communications and this is my horse Harold. He is a seven-year-old 18hh pure Irish Draught and I've had him since he was a three year old. When I'm not riding, I quite like to go to the gym, for coffee with my friends, and when Harold is not riding he probably likes to have scratches the most with his best friend Chester in the field. We are so looking forward to All Stars and we can't wait to see what it brings."

In Episode 1, they were coached by superstar eventer Mary King, whose daughter Emily is based in North Wales, giving the contestants a lesson in flatwork and jumping grids.
